WEDDINGS AT THALA BEACH LODGE AND THE CAIRNS COLONIAL CLUB

Well what a very busy year it has been for weddings and I performed my last ceremony for 2008 yesterday morning (30th December) at Thala Beach Lodge, Port Douglas.  Two people who had eloped and were so very happy to be getting married!  It was one of those absolutely beautiful days – the sea was flat calm and the sky was blue and cloudless – just perfect.    The week before Christmas saw me back again at the Cairns Colonial Club in their gazebo – lots of guests from Thursday Island and a beautiful bride.  Ialso travelled to Bedarra for another elopement wedding on 18th December – such a gorgeous and exclusive island – I had fun…  I managed to fit in four days on the Gold Coast over Christmas – with family and friends but I now need a rest to get over the festivities!

I would like to wish you all a Very Happy New Year – if you are planning your marriage in 2009 I look forward to meeting you and to helping you to achieve your perfect wedding day.  Let’s hope that 2009 brings us all peace, happy families, good health and a prosperous year.

WEDDING AT THE ANGSANA CHAPEL PALM COVE

I performed a wedding in the Blue Horizon Chapel at the Hilton Hotel on 4th which was lovely with overseas guests flying in for the occasion.  On 5th a wedding with the couple’s very young son as ring bearer – he was so gorgeous walking up the aisle to his Mum and Dad!  Looking forward to Saturday when I am marrying two opera singers in the Angsana Chapel – should be amazing as the acoustics are so good.  Hope someone is taking a video…
