RENEWAL OF VOWS IN CAIRNS

I had been contacted by a lovely man who wanted to surprise his wife with a renewal of vows ceremony. They lived interstate and she was visiting her father in Cairns who was very ill. As they had previously eloped he wanted her father to walk her into the ceremony and this is what we did on the Esplanade in Cairns in the late afternoon. Their small daughter was in charge of the rings and after a couple of false starts when she looked like throwing them into the grass, we eventually made it. The ceremony was emotional and perfect for them and I was so impressed with the romantic and lovely way in which he organised this ceremony for his wife.

WEDDING IN PORT DOUGLAS

Sunday 8th August found me back in Port Douglas for another local couple – lots of laughs and tears and a lot of fun.

WEDDING AT SEA TEMPLE RESORT PALM COVE

On Saturday 7th August I performed a ceremony at the beautiful Sea Temple Resort, on the Terrace where a lovely local couple were married in front of their families and close friends. We included some Sri Lankan customs in their ceremony and the bride looked beautiful. I really enjoyed this wedding.

WEDDING AT COOLUMS AT HOLLOWAYS BEACH

On 5th August I was at Coolums to act as Celebrant for a local couple and a few family members and friends. Their ceremony was on the beach and their small son acted as ring bearer.

WEDDING AT THALA BEACH LODGE

On 1st August I met a lovely eloping couple at Thala Beach Lodge and we had their ceremony on the beach. They were so happy to be getting married and we had a videographer and photographer to record their memories. After a glass of champagne to toast them I made my way back to Cairns.

SEA TEMPLE PORT DOUGLAS WEDDING

On Sunday 25th July I performed a wedding at the Sea Temple Golf Club at Port Douglas, with the beautiful scenery in the background. A very small and intimate ceremony with a pianist playing as the bride walked in, which was absolutely lovely.

TRINITY BEACH WEDDING

24th July was one of the windiest days we have had but we managed to have a wonderful ceremony at the southern end of Trinity Beach with a guitarist to serenade the beautiful bride as she walked with her parents to be married. A great day!
