PALM COVE BEST WEDDING DESTINATION

Palm Cove has definitely proved to be the most popular wedding destination this year and my last weddings for the month of October were again on the beach at Palm Cove. On Monday 25th another interstate eloping couple celebrated their marriage and on Tuesday 26th I married a couple with around 20 guests on the beach near Peppers Beach Club. The weather was lovely on both days and I actually have the weekend off this coming weekend which is the first time for many many months.

MARRIAGE PALM COVE

On Saturday 23rd October I married a couple at a private house in Palm Cove. Their children were guests and witnesses and we celebrated with a glass of bubbles which was lovely.

PALM COVE WEDDING

On Monday 18th I was back at Palm Cove again – this time for an eloping couple from England. We had a photographer and Fran and David from Palm Cove Weddings acted as their witnesses. Some friends had organised for a bottle of bubbles to be sent to them which was very enjoyable indeed…

ANGSANA CHAPEL WEDDING PALM COVE

On Sunday 17th I was again at the beautiful Angsana Chapel for a lovely couple and their interstate guests. They were happy and in love – what more can you ask for..

WEDDING SEBEL REEF HOUSE PALM COVE

On Saturday 16th I married a couple on the beach in front of the Sebel Reef House. Unfortunately the skies opened in the middle of their ceremony and we finished under umbrellas having a good laugh together. Especially as I was reading the poem The Apache Wedding Prayer which has the line which says “now you feel no rain as each will be shelter for the other” and this seemed to make their guests laugh even more.

WEDDING ST MARYS BY THE SEA PORT DOUGLAS

On 15th October I drove to Port Douglas to marry a couple from interstate at St Marys by the Sea in front of 55 guests. The groom and his bestman wore kilts and I think were a little warm on the day. We also included some other Scottish traditions and I enjoyed it. We even had a piper before and after their ceremony as well.

WEDDING KEWARRA BEACH RESORT

On Monday 11th October I married an interstate couple surrounded by the bride’s children and they were also expecting twins… Fairly windy today but it was lovely. They had the Cairns String Quartet playing which is always a pleasure to listen to.

WEDDINGS ON 10TH OF THE 10TH 2010

My day started at 10am when I performed a wedding for local couple and their children and families and friends at the northern end of Palm Cove near the Jetty. This couple had been featured in our local newspaper the day before as they were to be married at 10am on 10th day of the 10th month of 2010. We managed to dodge the rain although the bride was unfortunately very late arriving.

My second wedding was at the Sea Temple Resort at Palm Cove again for a local couple with their interstate guests and family. It was fun and enjoyable.

PALM COVE WEDDING

My second wedding on 9th October was opposite Vivos Restaurant at Palm Cove with an interstate couple and their families and friends. Lots of laughs as their vows had some very funny words included.

ANGSANA CHAPEL WEDDING

On 9th October I was at the Angsana Chapel for a beautiful wedding with lovely people
