I was the Celebrant yesterday for a local couple who had many interstate guests and the bride and groom and their groomsmen and bridesmaids looked great.  It was a simple but meaningfulceremony with the groom’s sister reading a poem and we included the warming of their wedding rings and a unity candle ceremony. This is where their mothers lit a candle each and then later in the ceremony, after the ring exchange, the couple lit the centre candle, representing the uniting of their two families forever.  The weather was amazing as only a day in mid winter can be with blue skies and sea and a warm breeze and lots of romance.
