On 28th September I acted as Celebrant at a small wedding on 4 Mile Beach again with an interstate couple.  The bride told me it was the happiest day of her life and they certainly couldnt stop smiling.  A stretch limo carried them off to their reception at the Courthouse Hotel and I am sure they had a wonderful time.

On 26th September I performed a wedding on the beach at the Sea Temple Resort at Palm Cove.  Another beautiful day in paradise and a lovely interstate couple with lots of really lovely guests.  I enjoyed my day.

On 22nd September I travelled up to the beautiful Silky Oaks for the marriage of an eloping couple by the side of the lagoon.  The photographer and wedding co-ordinator acted as their witnesses and it was a lovely intimate and happy ceremony.

One of my very favourite places for a wedding; whether it is on the private beach or within the lodge itself.  It is so beautifully situated only 10 minutes south of Port Douglas and an easy drive from Cairns.  20th September an eloping couple from the Netherlands,  the following day another eloping couple from the Netherlands and on 25th September my third eloping couple but this time from interstate.  Each ceremony was so special and intimate and happy.

I travelled a long way on 19th September to act as the Celebrant at a ceremony absolutely filled with laughter.  The bride arrived on the back of a ute and the bride and groom and bridal party danced their way back down the aisle.  A lovely recital of violin and guitar from the children during the signing of the register and much enjoyment was had by everyone there.  My first wedding in this lovely wedding chapel.

A beautiful sunset ceremony by the pool at Peppers with lots of tears and a laughter and an unexpected announcement made over a glass of champagne.  I really enjoyed this wedding.  The following day I was back again at Peppers for a beach ceremony in the afternoon with 90 guests  from interstate and again a lovely wedding and an honour to perform.

I travelled up past Port Douglas and Mossman to perform a ceremony at Wonga Beach at the bride’s parent’s which is a lovely acreage property.  The groom arrived by helicopter which was a great surprise to the guests and the couple were married under a pyramid they had erected with a guitarist and lots of beautifully dressed guests.  It was a lot of fun.

9th September saw me at the little cove near the Yacht Club at Yorkeys Knob.  Still amazing weather and lots of guests and a very happy couple.  A great day.

5th September saw me at the Cairns Yacht Club as I was lucky enough to act as the Celebrant for two friends of mine.  She was such a beautiful bride and literally ran down the beach to meet her future husband.  Such a beautiful wedding and one I will remember for a long time. We partied on for many hours afterwards with guests from Europe and interstate to wish this couple all the very best.
