On the morning of Monday 23rd May I married a couple from Victoria in front of around 30 of their family and friends on the beach on a glorious autumn day with blue sky and sea, no wind and stunning. Their little daughter was a flower girl and she was gorgeous. Another happy couple…
On Saturday 21st May I married a couple from Victoria in the grounds of the Peppers Beach Club, before five of their friends. It was a lovely wedding and I enjoyed it.
Yesterday afternoon – on Friday 20th May – I married a local couple at Sactuary Palm Cove in the pool area. They had many members of their families as part of their bridal party and quite a few friends and the bride was given away by her brother and she look absolutely spectactular – it was fun and I enjoyed the bubbles afterwards.
My second wedding of the day on 14th May was at Rydges Tradewinds in the grassy area overlooking the Esplanade. A young local couple were married in front of lots of family and friends and I am sure their photographs will be fantastic as they looked so right together.
On Saturday 14th May I married a couple from South Australia in front of a few of their family and friends at the Blud Horizon Chapel at the Hilton Hotel in Cairns. The brides daughter and the couple’s baby daughter were also there as part of their bridal party.
On 10th May I took the Great Adventures boat from Cairns to Green Island to marry an eloping couple from New South Wales, witnessed by Colyn from Lovegreen and Troy from Green Island Resort. The couple also had a videographer – Colin from MOD Videos to remember their day. It was fun.
On Saturday 7th May I drove to Thala Beach Lodge for a wedding on the beach and again a fairly windy day. A couple from Brisbane watched by 40 family and friends were married in a lighthearted ceremony which I really enjoyed.
On 4th May I married a German couple in front of their two friends from Australia on a fairly windy day on Palm Cove Beach. It was lovely and I enjoyed the glass of bubbles afterwards.
On Saturday 30th I married a local couple in the grounds of Paradiso at Palm Cove. A small group of mainly family, friends and children from both the bride and the groom watched an emotional exchange of vows. I was glad to be a part of their special day.
On Friday 29th April I drove back up to Port Douglas to one of my favourite venues – Sea Temple Resort and Spa. This lovely couple and 25 friends and family were married on the Boardwalk on another beautiful day in Paradise….
