Yesterday afternoon I married a couple from Victoria at Peppers Beach Club and Spa – in their Serenity Garden. They had 16 family and friends to watch them exchange vows and the groom’s 15 year old son stood by his side and handed him the rings. There were a few tears from a lovely couple and it was an absolute pleasure to act as their Celebrant. It was another beautiful day with cloudless blue skies.
On Saturday 17th I married a couple from NSW in front of their 8 guests. The ring bearer was an amazing 4 year old who was so cute. The bride looked lovely and we had fun.
On Friday 16th I married a local couple in the Serenity Gardens at the Sea Temple Resort at Palm Cove. Their were around 30 guests present and their vows made everyone laugh.
On 10th September early evening I acted as Celebrant for a local couple at their parent’s house with around 10 family members. The couple are expecting a new addition to their family very shortly and they were so happy. It was lovely and they are a really nice young couple.
On 9th September I married a couple from Victoria with around 50 guests. It was one of those amazingly beautiful days with no wind and blue sky and magical. A lovely afternoon and very enjoyable.
Yesterday I travelled back to Port Douglas to marry a couple from Surfers Paradise in front of seven family members at the Crystal Chapel at the Sheraton Hotel. The bride was very emotional and looked lovely and they made a good looking couple. I enjoyed it.
My second wedding yesterday was at the Sea Temple Port Douglas – on the beach at the bottom of the boardwalk. It was a somewhat windy day but we had fun and the bride and groom – who were from Victoria – wrote secret vows which they exchanged in front of 117 family and friends. Their beautiful little son was also there to share in the celebrations and there were a few tears shed as the bride and groom both mentioned him in their vows.
Yesterday morning I married an eloping couple from South Queensland very early in the morning. I had only returned to Cairns on Friday after a lovely week away on the Gold Coast, celebrating my husband’s birthday, so the early morning was a bit of a shock to the system! Beautiful day and lovely couple – we found two witnesses walking along the beach.
