This morning I married a couple from Mareeba at the Lakes Cairns Resort. Their ceremony was in the garden and the bride and groom had 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen and their three daughters were flower girls. They all looked lovely and they were going to the beach to play paintball. Can’t wait to see the photos!
On 19th October I married an eloping couple from WA on the beach at the beautiful Lizard Island Resort – probably my most favourite venue of all. We managed to find a patch of blue sky and a little breeze which made the day perfect and of course the obligatory glass of bubbles to follow!
On Sunday I drove up to Thala Beach Lodge for a morning wedding on the beach for an eloping couple from Victoria. A baby is expected early next year and they are so excited about welcoming him or her into their lives. The bride is originally from England and they met whilst she was working in Victoria a few years ago. I wish them a wonderful life together.
On the morning of 12th October I married an English couple on the beach at Palm Cove with the groom’s parents, who live in Cairns, as witnesses. The bride looked amazing and there were a few tears as they made their vows.
On the afternoon of 11th October I married a couple also from Victoria in front of around 45 guests on the boardwalk at the Sea Temple Resort in Port Douglas. They participated in a sand ceremony with their mothers which was a lovely way to include the people who raised them.
On the morning of 11th October I acted as Celebrant for a young couple from Victoria who were married on the beach in front of their parents. Another beautiful day.
Yesterday I married a couple from Victoria on the beach opposite the Reef House at Palm Cove. Another beautiful day in Paradise. 40 family and friends were there to see this lovely couple become husband and wife.
This morning, at sunrise – I married a farmer from South Australia to his beautiful wife with their little daughter present as well. Three guests watched as they exchanged vows in front of a wedding arch made from white balloons and the sun came up on schedule over a calm blue sea and into a cloudness blue sky. A perfect morning for them to start their lives together in our amazing Paradise. I enjoyed it so much.
Yesterday afternoon I acted as Celebrant for a local couple who were married in the beautiful gardens of friends in Gordonvale. Around 70 family and friends watched and listened to them exchanging vows and two guests read poems. The young ring bearer and flower girl were very good and made the ceremony so personalised. We had fun.
On 30th September afternoon I married a young couple from Victoria with 40 family and friends present. Their wedding was on the beach at the Sea Temple Resort in Port Douglas which is always one of my favourite venues. Another beautiful day in Paradise – I am so lucky to live in this part of the world.
