ELOPEMENT PALM COVE

Yesterday I married a lovely couple from Yorkshire in England. They were so natural and happy and glad to be here in this amazing part of the world. We decided to have their wedding opposite the webcam at Palm Cove so that their family in England could watch on the website and I emailed the Bride’s mother a photo immediately after their ceremony using my blackberry. The wonderful couple from the Melaleuca Resort acted as witnesses and they also picked a bunch of flowers from their garden which was such a lovely touch. A couple from Melbourne also staying at the resort came along to watch and it was lovely and simple and meaningful and I loved it. After a glass of bubbles afterwards with Colyn their photographer and the happy couple, they continued up the beach to have some more photos. Hope we can catch up again one of these years – maybe when they renew their vows.
