On 12th January I performed a Renewal of Vows Ceremony at the Sebel Reef House at Palm Cove. It was their 20th wedding anniversary and they flew the whole family up to take part. There were a few tears and lots of laughs and I enjoyed my glass of champagne...

On 9th January I acted as Celebrant at a large local wedding on the pool deck of the Sebel Cairns Hotel. Despite the clouds the rain held off and we all had a good time.

On 6th January I peformed my first wedding of the year which was in a private house in Redlynch. We also had the webcam set up so that guests from interstate could also take part. A lot of fun.

I am just about to leave to perform a wedding for an eloping couple on the beach at Palm Cove. What a lovely way to say goodbye to 2009. Lets hope that 2010 is a peaceful and happy year for all of us and I would like to wish you all – past clients and new ones...

On 22nd December I travelled up the Gillies Highway to marry a couple at a surprise ceremony at the Cathedral Fig Tree near Yungaburra. I hadnt been there for many years and it was so much cooler than Cairns. Back down the Kuranda Range after dark.
