The Legal documents you will need to be Married.

• You both need to be over 18 years of age or have parental permission
• You will need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage Form and have your signatures witnessed by an authorised person and the form sent to me at least one month prior to the date of your wedding and no earlier than 18 months before your marriage. You can download this form from www.ag.gov.au/celebrants and there is a list of authorised persons to witness your signatures on the back of this form.
• If you were born in Australia you will need your ORIGINAL Birth Certificates and if you cannot find them then you will need to apply to Births, Deaths and Marriages in the capital of the State where you were born. If you were born outside Australia you will also need your OVERSEAS passport if you have one.
• If you were previously married, and this marriage ended in divorce, you will need your ORIGINAL Decree Absolute or Divorce Certificate, and if you cannot find it then you need to apply to the Family Court where you were divorced for a new one.
• I require certified copies of all relevant documentation to be mailed to me with the original completed and witnessed N.I.M. Form and then you MUST REMEMBER to bring all your original documents with you when you come to Cairns as I cannot marry you unless I see these documents.
