This morning I acted as Celebrant for a couple at Treetops Park in Forest Gardens Cairns. Their border collie Barney had the rings around his neck and acted as a wonderful furry ring bearer who came when he was called.

I travelled up the beautiful scenic road from Cairns to Thala Beach Lodge on 15th October to marry a lovely eloping couple overlooking the beach on another magical day in paradise. Flat blue sea and cloudless sky and just a breath of wind. I enjoyed it.

10th October was a busy day for me. My first wedding was at 2.30pm on the beach at Palm Cove opposite the Sebel Reef House . Some young singers serenaded us as we signed the certificates and the guests all walked down to the jetty afterwards for a group photograph. ...

9th October was a beautiful afternoon wedding at the Cairns Yacht Club at Ellis Beach. Guests travelled from Weipa and Thursday Island and interstate to watch this happy couple exchange their vows. As I left the party was starting.
